The Harlem RoadKings will arrive at the designated game site a minimum of one hour prior to the start of the game. A minimum of six players will attend each game.

Forty-five minutes prior to game time, the players will take the floor for warm-ups. Thirty minutes prior to the start of the game the announcer will begin playing music. During this time the souvenir sales associate will make Harlem RoadKings memorabilia available. The promoter should also consider making food and beverages available for sale. (If the promoter does not wish to operate a concession stand, the Harlem RoadKings souvenir specialist will sell food and beverages.) Fifteen minutes prior to the start of the game the Harlem RoadKings players will leave the floor and head for their assigned locker room. The announcer will make final preparations for the game. He/she will inform the audience of raffles available, concessions, and give the crowd an idea of what to expect over the next two hours.

The game will begin at the designated time (weeknights 7:00 p.m., week-ends 2:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.). We pay tribute to our country at the start of each game with a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. Immediately following the National Anthem, the home team is introduced and asked to “take a bow” for the crowd.

It is now time to start the show. We begin with the choreographed Harlem RoadKings famous warm-up circle and then…the introduction of the players.

Two quarters of basketball will be played with each quarter lasting ten minutes. We mix in plenty of fast break action with some spectacular slam dunks, three-point shots and some “razzle dazzle” that each and every member of the audience has come to know and love. Throw in some good old fashioned comedy and top it off with some foot stomping music, and now you’ve just witnessed the first half of an award winning fun-filled family show!

The half-time intermission is usually fifteen to twenty minutes. During this time food, drinks, and some souvenirs are sold. As a part of the half-time festivities, the Harlem RoadKings players will be available to sign autographs as well as interact with members of the audience. Once intermission has concluded, we continue by inviting several children from the audience to be a part of our half-time show.

At the conclusion of our half-time show, we continue the action with the third and fourth quarters, filled with exciting game play and more slam-dunks, incredible ball handling, amazing dribbling, laugh-out-loud comedy, and upbeat music!

We conclude our show with a spectacular half court shot. After the game has ended, the Harlem RoadKings will remain at courtside to sign autographs. Final score: A great time had by all!
